The mischief is watching you

There was already a picture of a kaka, to which I mentioned the kea. Keas are, you can already guess, also birds that are only to be found in NZ. And as every New Zealand bird has some kind of awesome streak, the kea is the only parrot known to be able to living in the mountains even if there's snow. Keas are highly intelligent birds.

Here's my story to that: As you can see I was in the same cage as the kea above was. You were allow to enter but also warned that the keas were very playful and mischievous. So whilst I was taing a picture of the one above, posing so nicely for me, I felt something plucking my cap. I grabbed it and spun around. There was another kea I hadn't noticed yet. It was looking at me and started to croak disappointedly. I really had the feeling it was complaining to me for having ruined it's fun.

Besides their mischievous streak they are very lovable birds. And yes, I've even seen a wild one in the snow. If I find the picture I might upload it here. We'll see.
